| A year ago today was what I thought was the worst day of my life. Really it was the biggest blessing I could ever have asked for. This past year has been the worst/best ever and it would've never happened had it not been for October 19, 2006. I am in very different places with very different people. Last year at this time I was hunched over a toilet, throwing up because I was crying so hard from having my heart broken. This year I am hanging out, still in my apartment, with Louise having a fun time just talking, laughing, and playing with her nephew. I was just in my first performance in my first mainstage and I have never been more happy with where I am in life and the people that are in it. A year ago this time, Marley and I weren't friends. This is really the biggest change and the one that I am the most grateful for. I got Marley in exchange for people who aren't worth the mud that gets trapped in her stilettos. We will be friends for life. Going through all of that stuff brought her, Louise, and I together and we formed a real bond that can't be severed by stupid, petty shit because we share the same morals and values. I firmly believe that we will be friends for the rest of our lives whether we live in the same general vicinity or not. It took me a long time to realize last fall for the blessing that it was, but I am amazed at how much I have changed and at how much happier I am. Life is good friends, life is good. P.S. Today is mine and Nixon's one year anniversary!!! Woot! |

The musical scenes were all amazing. I've never experienced such a great night of theatre. It makes me really really happy.
